What makes a good photo

1.) Close up time! Be sure your pet’s photo is taken in a well lit area. Ideally without a filter and in natural lighting.

2.) Close up and head on, showing as much of the ears, head, neck, and chest as possible. This will allow us to get a good crop of your pets face.

3.) Avoid overhead, overly filtered or blurry photos. We are typically unable to illustrate photos of your pet lying down.

Getting the best results

Avoid lengthy overly complicated descriptions when describing what you want. Keep it simple and stick to one theme, don’t combine various ideas into one request. If you need some inspiration, check out our Pet Showcase to get some ideas – simply rollover the artwork to get a hint.

Ordering and paying

Once you submit your order, we get to work on digitally-illustrating your portrait with the assistance of AI art generators. We create 4 variations for you within 3-5 days after which we will send you a link to login and review these variations. Select one (or more) of these variations and click add to cart. After checkout and successful payment you will receive a link to download a print ready high res PDF file that you can take to any printer to print and frame (up to a size of 600mm x 600mm). We recommend a frame of at least 300mm x 300mm.

I did one of these as a present for a friend of mine, but then could not bring myself to give it away so I kept it! Now I get to admire my mates labarador every day! Love it...
